Is this you?

If you are feeling lost, stuck, or not quite yourself while life is changing around you, this could be a good fit.

Plein Air Counseling helps adults (18+) in a season of change, who are struggling with anxiety, burn out, depression, and/or mood regulation. These seasons of change could be: postpartum, relationships, career, or shifting spiritual beliefs. Other diagnoses and issues treated here include bipolar, BPD, and trauma. Plein Air Counseling treats adults of all genders.

Does this sound like you?

  • Something big has shifted in my life and I don’t recognize myself anymore.

  • I’m anxious, on edge, more snippy than normal.

  • I feel like I can’t get out of bed or get off my phone.

  • My mind is racing, but nothing is getting done.

  • I’m not sleeping very well. I don’t feel rested.

  • I’m pushing people away but I also feel lonely.

  • This used to be easy or make sense. What’s going on?

If this sounds familiar, there is hope for you to find yourself again,

so that you feel like a whole human being,

connected to who you are,

the people you care about,

and to the daily work you do.

How do we get there from here?

Therapeutic Approach

We start with building a base of trust between therapist and you (Person-Centered and Relational Therapy). Then, we will explore the current issues at hand, and the story of your life, and how these might be connected (Attachment Theory). We can use parts work to help you reconnect with compassion and empathy for yourself. We can also consider how your habits of thinking and interpreting your life are directly impacting your life (CBT), and learn tools to grow in mindfulness, communication, and coping with small and big emotions (DBT).

All of this is in the context of nature-based therapy or ecotherapy. The natural outdoor setting, and use of nature, are a huge part of what sets Plein Air Counseling with Hannah Jalovick apart. Nature has been shown over and over in scientific studies to improve emotional health, cognitive health (focus and creativity), and physical health.

By the end of your time at Plein Air, the hope is that you will feel more connected to yourself, your community, your daily life, and the natural world. Much of our pain and dysfunction arise from disconnection, and Plein Air believes that healing happens in connection.

Meet the therapist

Hannah Jalovick, LCMHC, is licensed to treat folks in the state of NH. She has been in the mental health field for about a decade and licensed since 2025. What keeps her in this work is her delight in each individual’s unique goodness and tenderness, and helping them see and value this as well, so they can learn a new, softer way to move through life and align with their own values.

Hannah is a mom of a preschooler and a baby. These days she loves to journal, doodle, water color, walk/hike, read, garden, play violin, and watch Survivor with her husband.

Hannah created Plein Air Counseling in 2026.

What do you mean, outdoor therapy? Where will we be?

June, July, and August 2026 will be all telehealth, but we can still use nature-based/ecotherapy approaches to our time when that is helpful.

September we will be able to meet in person together in nature. Exact location right now is still in the works, but it will be in the Dover, NH area.
